Hi everybody ,well this is my first aport to mugen comunity its a screenpack of the marvel vs capcom 2 game ,this project came to see that although there are very good proposals like that of drachir, doorhenge, cabbit007 and even that of ER;all are very good but none ended convince me no one passed me the essence of the original game at all,so I started to do the job of mine . this is ripped from the dreamcast version ,obviously by the limitations of the engine is not going to be a clone of the original one,but this will have (I hope) this feeling for be playing the MUGEN version of the game. well im wait your comments or opinions, when this has more advanced i upload it to all those who like it while i leave this image to see how it goes left
now to use a controller(360,ps2, or arcade stick), you need Xpadder, which is here: http://www.xpadder.com/
that program simulates keyboard and mouse movements to a controller. so far, nullDC will only read a dreamcast controller(if you have one), so u must use this to get any other controller to work.
put your controller plugin to ''NullDC Controller [Winhook] (aug 2008) v1.0.0 (drkMapledevices_win32.dll:0)'' then go to Maple-->port(whichever port you are configuring)-->configure keys. then open Xpadder. follow the instructions that it tells you to configure it.
now, go back to your configuration options for nullDC. whatever keys are for your buttons should be keyboard keys. the config should look like this:
now keep that open, now open Xpadder again, it should look like this, or with your buttons layed out.
as you see, my keys are configured to a button or movemen to my arcade stick. so If your up for NullDC is keyboard up, then click on your ''UP'' key or movement on your controller, then your keyboard would show like this. then click on the keys of the keyboard you want your controller to respawn to. if you don't know what buttons are what, just press them, they will highlight green, then click on it, and repeat. do this until you are done assigning your buttons, and you are done.
it's very easy to do, you sign up, they send you a password to ur E-mail, once you get the password, hit play at the top of the 2dfighter.com, put ur password in, and you are now able to play people from all around the globe in nearly any 2D fighting game made to date(besides guilty gear).
when you have ur roms, go to settings, and configure where your roms are located, so if you have kawaks or mame or GGPO, just direct it to their roms folder.
if you want to host games, you must open port 27886. you can challenge anybody, or anybody can challenge you.
